AstroPrint now allows its users to watch their 3d prints in real time high-definition no matter where they are in the world.
The company, which allows its customers to manage and control their 3d printers wirelessly from anywhere, made the release public last week, noting it was one of the most requested features from existing customers.
"Live Video Streaming is arguably one of the most requested features from our users and we are happy to announce that you now have the ability to watch a live video stream of your 3D Printer from anywhere around the world! This means that you can monitor your prints in real time in full screen and in high definition straight from your AstroPrint dashboard."
Users will need the updated raspberry pi version of AstroPrint in order to take advantage of this feature, which nows adds to a list of software tools that make 3d printing easier for new entrants, as they can control their 3d printing process and stores printable files from one central location.
