Presidential candidate Gary Johnson became the first declared candidate in US history to publicly endorse the installation of a 3d printer at the White House.

2) Iraqi Government Interested in 3D Printing Thousands of Homes For Countrymen

Less than a month after it was reported that Saudi Arabia is interested in 3d printing 1.5 million new homes for an ambitious housing expansion, the company brought to the Kingdom with the technology to make that project happen now has the interest of the Iraqi government.

3) Women's Athletic Shoes Get Customization From 3D Printing

Customized footwear using 3d printing technology is nothing new.  Brands such as Adidas and Under Armour have been leveraging the production capabilities of 3d printing to keep their athletes happy in Rio and provide them with better performance.
