3D Printing with ABS
ABS filament continues to be a go-to plastic filament for 3d prints that need more durability and heat resistance than PLA. It's a bit trickier to print with because when the plastic cools during the printing process, it can move and cause faulty prints. Be sure to heat up the temperature of your build plate when using ABS to get the perfect print.
Printing temp: 225-245C
Some best practice tips:
- Heat build plate between 80-110C during printing process
- We recommend using an enclosed 3d printer or a well ventilated space with ABS because it can emit odor during the printing process.
Check the recommended specifications on your printer and filament for the optimal extruder and bed temperature ranges
