Nylon 230 was the first nylon filament in the world to print at 230C. This makes it one of the easiest nylons to 3d print with.
With the release of Nylon 230 (summer 2015), taulman3D provides owners of PLA only or PLA and ABS only 3D Printers with the ability to add high strength Nylon to their list of material choices.
In addition, Nylon 230 prints on Blue tape, and even better on "built-tak" type surfaces as well as print bed treated with various PVA glues/glue sticks.
"This was my first venture into printing nylon. I had read mixed things on nylon printing in general, but I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised with this filament. 3D printing in general is a voodoo art -- you can read two blogs online on how to print the same thing and they will tell you to do opposite things. Printing nylon is no different.
So I can only say what has worked for me.For bed adhesion, I've had really good success printing either on kapton tape over an aluminum bed plate or onto glass, each covered with a somewhat thin but thorough layer of glue stick (aka PVA) and with a bed heater. The manufacturer indicates a bed temp of 45C, but like all other print variables is subject to your equipment and environment. My printer is in my basement and it's a bit cooler there, so I find I have to run my bed around 60-70C for this filament." - Donna W.
"This stuff is amazing. It prints so nice! Right off the hop the first print I did was perfect. I set the nozzle to 230, and the bed to 40 and it worked perfectly. A very good product!" - Brad S.
"Awesome product delivery on time would recommend to anyone." - Mark T.
